The Gyeongnam Art Museum was established to serve the cultural needs of the 3.2 million residents of Gyeongsangnam-do Province, and to promote development of the province as a regional center of art and culture.
By housing artworks and conducting related research studies and surveys, as well as through international exchanges and exhibitions, the Gyeongnam Art Museum aims to strengthen the cultural infrastructure of Gyeongsangnam-do Province.
